REGULATIONS OF THE RACE

“Tashkent International Marathon”

1. General Description of the Project

The Tashkent International Marathon is more than a sporting event — it is a symbol of the country’s movement toward great goals, where the journey of every runner becomes part of a shared trajectory toward the future, inspired by Uzbekistan’s space ambitions and the pursuit of breakthroughs in science, technology, and sport.

Running through the streets of Tashkent, participants choose their own “orbit” — 42 km, 21 km, 10 km or 5 km — and together with thousands of like-minded people prove that, just like in space, there are no limits to what is possible. There is only a goal, a path, and the courage to take the next step forward.

Main Objectives of the Event

• To inspire residents and guests of the capital toward an active and healthy future;
• To foster a responsible attitude toward physical health among citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and international visitors;
• To systematically involve the population in physical culture and sports in order to strengthen the nation’s health;
• To develop the running movement and promote amateur running;
• To promote a healthy lifestyle among the population;
