IV GINCANA IBIZAPRESERVATION EN CASTELLANO

Desde la fundación IbizaPreservation e Ibiza Blue Challenge, presentamos la IV Gincana IbizaPreservation, una actividad comunitaria de carácter lúdico que se celebrará el domingo 9 de noviembre en la zona de Cala de Bou, en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento de Sant Josep, la Consejería de Agricultura, Pesca y Medio Natural del Govern de les Illes Balears y empresas de la isla.

Este año, la prueba tendrá una temática centrada en la biodiversidad y los polinizadores (abejas, mariposas, etc.).

INFORMACIÓN BÁSICA

QUÉ: Una carrera popular, familiar y no federada que consiste en una búsqueda de pistas al estilo carrera de orientación utilizando un mapa. El objetivo es completar el recorrido, identificar y resolver las 12 pistas escondidas en el menor tiempo posible.

CUÁNDO: Domingo 9 de noviembre de 10:00 a 12:30.

DÓNDE: Área recreativa de Cala de Bou y zonas adyacentes.

QUIÉNES: La prueba se realiza por equipos de entre 2 y 3 personas formadas por lo menos con un mayor de edad. Es apta para todas las edades ya que cada equipo adaptará su propio ritmo a su nivel.

CÓMO: La organización dará la salida desde el área recreativa de Cala de Bou, junto a la biblioteca, y desde allí los equipos se desplazarán corriendo o andando a las zonas donde se han escondido las pistas guiándose por un mapa que proporcionará la organización en el mismo momento del inicio de la prueba.

DURACIÓN: De 60 minutos a 2 horas dependiendo del ritmo de cada equipo participante.

REGLAMENTO

Artículo 1: Inscripciones

Las inscripciones son gratuitas y se realizarán de forma online a través del enlace: https://sportmaniacs.com/c/iv-gincana-ibizapreservation

Al hacer las inscripciones hace falta indicar primero el nombre de la persona adulta y a continuación el nombre de la(s) persona(s) menor(es) que forman el equipo. El número máximo de equipos será de 100 según el orden de inscripción.

La inscripción incluye seguro de accidentes, dorsal, mapa y una donación finisher por cada uno de los equipos que completen el recorrido a una entidad que contribuya a paliar los efectos de la dana registrada en Ibiza a finales de septiembre,

Artículo 2: Horarios

Se puede empezar el recorrido a cualquier hora entre las 10:00 y las 12:30 h. Al llegar a la carpa de organización las personas participantes recibirán su dorsal y mapa para poder iniciar la prueba.

• Desde las 10:00 h entrega de dorsales e inicio de la competición
• 12:30 hora tope para tomar la salida
• 14:00 fin de competición

Artículo 3: Premios y categorías

La prueba estará formada por un único circuito de 12 fitas con preguntas generales relacionadas con medio ambiente. En el caso de que se salte una fita, el equipo en cuestión recibirá una penalización de 6 minutos. En el caso de que la respuesta no sea correcta, la penalización será de 1 minuto por respuesta incorrecta.

• Todos los equipos que completen el recorrido recibirán un bono donativo, destinado a apoyar a una ONG local que brinda ayuda a las personas afectadas por las inundaciones en Ibiza del pasado 30 de septiembre.
• La organización obsequiará a los tres equipos más rápidos con una selección de productos locales relacionados con las abejas de Ibiza.
• Sorteo de regalos entre todos los equipos finishers.

Artículo 4: Econormas

Queda totalmente prohibido arrojar cualquier tipo de envoltorio o envase a lo largo del recorrido fuera de las zonas que la organización habilita para ello y que se situarán junto con el avituallamiento.

La organización dispondrá un avituallamiento en zona de meta con materiales reciclables y contenedores separados y bidones de agua para que los y las participantes puedan rellenar sus cantimploras.

Artículo 5: Material necesario

Todos las personas participantes deberán llevar zapatilla deportiva, ropa cómoda de deporte, y agua o avituallamiento según necesidad.

Es recomendable llevar una pequeña mochila por equipo para poder cargar el avituallamiento y cantimploras para el agua.

Es obligatorio llevar un teléfono móvil por equipo y facilitar el número de dicho teléfono a la organización al realizar la inscripción (en el campo teléfono de emergencia).

Artículo 6: Responsabilidad

Esta prueba transita por caminos, playas, calles y sendas forestales y se realiza con circuito abierto al tráfico por lo que, en todo momento, los y las participantes deben seguir la normativa de la vía y extremar la precaución. La responsabilidad del menor de edad es de la persona adulta que forma parte del equipo y deberá mantener una permanente vigilancia para evitar incidentes.

Artículo 7: Fotos

Con la inscripción en el evento, se entiende otorgada la autorización para la captación y publicación de imágenes del equipo completo, incluidas aquellas en las que puedan aparecer personas menores de edad, en las redes sociales y la página web u otras publicaciones digitales o impresas de Ibiza Blue Challenge y de IbizaPreservation. Asimismo, las imágenes podrán ser difundidas en medios de comunicación que cubran el desarrollo de la prueba.

En caso de no autorizar dicho uso, será necesario comunicarlo expresamente mediante correo electrónico a info@ibizabluechallenge.com.

RULES IN ENGLISH-2025 IBIZAPRESERVATION FAMILY FUN DAY

IbizaPreservation and Ibiza Blue Challenge present the 2025 IbizaPreservation Family Fun Day, a recreational community activity to be held on Sunday 9th November in Cala de Bou, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, Fishing and Environment of the Balearic Regional Government, Sant Josep Town Hall, and local companies.

This year, the theme of the competition will be biodiversity and pollinators (bees, butterflies, etc.).

BASIC INFORMATION

WHAT: A popular, family and non-federated race that consists of a search for clues in the style of an orienteering race using a map. The goal is to complete the course, identifying and solving the 12 hidden clues in the shortest time possible.

WHEN: Sunday 9th November from 10am to 12.30pm.

WHERE: Recreational area of Cala de Bou and surrounding areas.

WHO: Teams of between 2 and 3 people made up of at least one adult may participate. It is suitable for all ages as each team can adapt its pace to its own level.

HOW: The starting point will be at the Cala de Bou recreational area, next to the library, and from there the teams will run or walk, to the areas where the clues have been hidden, guided by a map provided by the organisers at the start of the event.

DURATION: Between 1 and 2 hours depending on the speed of the participants.

RULES

1: Registration

Registration is free of charge and can be completed online via this link: https://sportmaniacs.com/en/races/iv-gincana-ibizapreservation

When registering, please give the name of the first adult and then the system will ask you to indicate the names of the remaining members of the team (i.e. additional adult + minor or 2 minors). The maximum number of teams is 100, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The registration includes accident insurance, a race number, a map, and a donation on behalf of each team that completes the course to an organisation supporting efforts to alleviate the impact of the recent Ibiza floods.

2: Timings

You can participate at any time between 10:00 and 12:30. On arrival at the organisers’ tent, participants will receive their bib number and map to start the race.

• 10:00 distribution of bibs to first competitors and start of the competition
• 12:30 last entries
• 14:00 competition close

3: Prizes and categories

The event will consist of a single circuit of 12 checkpoints with general questions related to the environment. If a team skips a checkpoint, they will receive a 6-minute penalty. For each incorrect answer, a penalty of 1 minute will be applied.

• All teams that complete the course will receive a donation voucher in support of a local NGO providing aid to people affected by the flooding in Ibiza on 30 September.
• The three fastest teams will be awarded a selection of local bee-related products.
• There will also be a prize draw for all finishing teams.

4: Eco-rules

It is strictly forbidden to throw any kind of wrapping or packaging along the route outside the areas that the organisers have set up for this purpose.

The refreshment point will be located in the finish area, with recycling containers and a water refill station provided.

5: What to bring

All participants should wear trainers and comfortable sports clothes.

Please avoid bringing single-use plastic water bottles and instead bring your own refillable bottle, plus any other supplies you consider necessary. It is advisable to carry a small backpack per team.

It is compulsory to carry one mobile phone per team and provide this number to the organisers when registering (in the “Emergency contact number” field)..

6: Responsibility

This event takes place on roads, streets and forest paths and the circuit is open to traffic so you must follow the rules of the road at all times and exercise extreme caution. The adult shall be responsible for the minor(s) with whom they form a team; they must exercise constant vigilance in order to avoid any incidents.

7: Photos

By registering for the event, participants grant permission for images of the entire team, including any minors, to be taken and published on social media, the website, or other digital or printed publications of Ibiza Blue Challenge and IbizaPreservation. These images may also be used by media outlets covering the event.

If you do not consent to this use, you must notify the organisers explicitly by email at info@ibizabluechallenge.com.
